It's time for the AID!
From the 15th of August the AID is firing up, new people, activities, parties and associations. You can find us, study association B.V.W. 'Biologica', all over the AID. Want to know more about us? Come find us during the AID! On the right side you can see everywhere where you can find us. But until that time you can find a short introduction here.
What is 'Biologica'?
Biologica is the study association for the studies Biology and Marine Sciences. A study association specifically meant for the people of these studies. Because of shared interests there is room for study-related activities but of course there are a lot of drinks, parties and other laid-back activities on the planning as well. The entire association is for and by students. To some this means that they both organise and join activities, others just come for the parties or are busy behind the scenes and yet others just member for the discount on books. Nothing is mandatory and everything is possible
So how does that work?
Everything is being organised by our committees. At the moment, we have more than 20 active committees that all organise different activities. For example, the BAC has a a number of annual activities like the campfire dinks and the beer cantus. While the BOA is more focused on nature-related activities such as a nature weekend and excursions into the wild. Activities specifically for the first-year's are organized by the IntrodukCie or the BIKcie. Anyone can become a member of these committees and every good idea can be worked into an activity or even an entirely new committee! Marine Sciences
In 2023 is de studie Marine Sciences opgericht, en opgenomen bij Biologica. Om deze studenten ook echt een eigen plek te geven is de ondervereniging Minoa opgericht, met eigen commissies en activiteiten. Een TipSea die borrels organiseert of de AcademiSea voor lezingen en ander studiegerelateerde activiteiten. Minoa bestaat ruim een jaar, er is dus nog veel ruimte voor jou bijdrage! Meehelpen?
