Hi everyone,
My name is Fardau Bandringa (she/her) and I am the president of the 73rd board of B.V.W. 'Biologica'. My tasks this term are very different from what I did before, but I am excited to take on a this new role!
I am a fourth year Biology student with a special interest in ecology. And this year I'm going to follow elective courses where I can learn a bit more about social and communication studies. I'm very curious to see if I'll like it :)
Next to studying and being a board member, I love to spend my time outside in nature. I also love watching videos about my favourite animals like goats, takins, horses, sun bears and many others. So if you ever want to talk about those, you're welcome to come by the hok! And also if you have other interests, questions for any of the board members or you just want to chill, you're of course welcome to come by!

Hi there,
My name is Sienna Koorneef, a third-year BSc Biology student, and I’m serving as the secretary of Biologica again this term! This mainly involves sorting emails, keeping the membership database up to date, and taking minutes during board meetings and General Members' Meetings. So, if you send an email to Biologica, you’ll likely get a reply from me!
I first got involved during my first year by joining the MeeCie. We organize walk along days for enthusiastic high school students. I still enjoy doing that, and I’ve since become the committee chair. I’m also active in the Boa, BoCo, and IntrodukCie committees. Besides that, I love attending the amazing activities Biologica organises with my friends.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy working outdoors with my horses, hanging out with friends, chasing after critters with a net like a true ecologist, or just relaxing on the couch watching a good series (or a really bad reality show). I also love going to concerts, especially with my dad—though my bank account is a little less thrilled about that.
All in all, I’m really excited to be part of Biologica’s 73rd board this coming term! Let’s make it a great time.

Hey lovely people!!
My name is Inge Marije, I'm a third-year biology student, and I'm back for round two as your treasurer for Biologica! That means I’m continuing my quest to manage the association’s finances and, keep us far away from any financial crises. Most of you know me simply as "the person with the money", but committee treasurers know the real truth about how much of a pain I can be. Honestly though? Just send in your budget accounts and declarations on time and I’m a happy and proud treasurer!
Back in my second year, I joined the MeeCie before making the jump to the board. These days, you can also find me in the BoCo Sante, because who doesn’t love a good cocktail or mocktail? And the BAC, where we plan all kinds of fun activities. For the rest I love dropping by activities to socialize with whoever happens to be around.
Outside of board life and studies, I like to climb or boulder, hanging out with friends and have a game night or collecting questionable pets like giant snails, millipedes and walking sticks. For the rest I really enjoy reading, knitting, journalling and scrapbooking. As long as I can let my creativity flow I am happy.
If you ever see me around the hok, please drop by! I’m always down to chat about everything and nothing, especially if it leads to a good talk that helps me sog:)

Owen Kroeze
Hello hello!
My name is Owen Kroeze, I am a second year BSc Biology and I am the Commissioner of Committees this term! I am the man between our amazing committees and the board, make sure they stay filled and everything runs smoothly.
In my first year I was immediately absorbed into the association. I loved all the people and fun activities (joined about 6 committees) and it really made my life better, so I wanted to help out and become board.
Besides all this I am an avid birder and general naturalist, so most of my free time I love traveling and seeing all kinds of nature. I even became a nature guide as my side job, how fun is that?!
So everyone thank you for reading my little text and hope to see you all soon in the hok (and maybe join a committee whilst you’re at it 😉

Hi everyone!!
My name is Jade and I’m currently in the 3rd year of the Bachelor Biology. I'll be your new Commissioner of Education. Although I can frequently be found chasing butterflies and beetles, the courses I follow are health and disease focused. I am fascinated by how the body functions and how diseases impact the body.
Within Biologica, I enjoy participating in many activities and committees as well. One committee I particularly enjoy is the BOA 🦎, which is where the confusion I must be an ecologist comes from. I do really have a passion for animals and finding them in the outdoors, but I also love learning all about how the body works. Therefore, I have decided ecologist activities will be part of my hobbies and for my education I will focus on health and disease 🫀.
In my free time I enjoy drawing, painting, and listening to lots of music. Some of my favorite things to draw are butterflies 🦋. Besides drawing them, I also like pinning insects when I have found a dead species somewhere. And if that weren’t enough hobbies, I recently started practicing playing the guitar. When I find the time, I enjoy reading dystopian novels. At night, I can be found with friends looking at the stars 🌠. Somehow I manage to pick up every hobby that seems interesting to me ✨️.
As your Commissioner of Education I hope to offer you clarity within the study biology and the network of guidance available. Also do not hesitate to contact me if anything is up with the program that you think is not going well. I frequently have meetings with the Program Committee (PC) where I can share struggles that students experience with the biology program!

Hi everyone,
My name is Felicia Gilliad (she/her) and I am the Commissioner of External Relations in the 73rd board of Biologica. This means that I keep contact with our sponsors and try to reel in extra sponsormoney.
I'm a fifth-year student in Wageningen now, and am halfway through my masters Biology. I specialize in ecology, but am mostly interested in plants and everything around them. My other passion in life is dancing, as I have been doing it for 14 years. You might even spot me dancing or watching competition videos in the hok!
Within Biologica, I am a proud co-founder of BoCo Santé (because borrels are always gezellig), and member of the Masters committee and Sponsorcommittee. If you ever have a question about our sponsors or just want to chat, feel free to come find me in the hok!

Hi there,
My name is Sem de Ruijter and I am the Commissioner of Public Relations of the 73rd board of B.V.W. 'Biologica'. This means I am in charge most public media. These involve social media, the website, the Bioflits and promotional material. In other words, you will recieve lots of messages from me 😉
I am currently a 3rd year biology student specialising in ecology. At the moment that means lots of programming and statistics, but I think that's necessary to be able to understand and possibly fix full ecosystems, which is my ultimate dream.
Outside of my studies and the board, I love playing sports and going outside in general. My main sport is survivalrun, but running, walking, cycling and mountainbiking are in my arsenal as well. Other things I love are hanging out with friends and just chatting in general, as well as tutoring middle school students (mainly math). I am often busy doing stuff in the hok, but feel free to interrupt, I am always in for a chat. Whether you have a question, you want to dump some thoughts or just would like some company, you are always welcome.
